Let’s Connect

I’m so happy you have decided to join me as we work together to improve the lives of the people around us, as well as ourselves. I am very excited about all the fun things I want to share with you. I also recognize that lots of you have great ideas and techniques you use to reduce your stress in natural and effective ways that I may not know about. I wanted to provide a means for you and me to share our ideas together so we can both learn and better ourselves. That is why I have created these channels of connection.

I have created four social media sites where we can interact, more informally, on a regular basis. I hope you’ll feel comfortable connecting with me. Here’s what we have going on, so far, and what you’ll find at each place:

I send these out to twitter as I receive them (usually 2 or 3 times each week). You can view my tweeting history to see all the really cool information I’ve put on there already.

It’s like a discussion group where we can post our own messages, questions and interact with each other. I would love it if you took a moment to Like this Facebook group and share it with as many people as you can.

A New Beginning: Join me toward my Vision

I have a Vision:

I am writing to you today because you have either been enrolled in one of my classes, attended a workshop, visited the stressmanagementplace.com website, or I’ve worked with you individually and you have given me permission to email you about things relating to stress relief.

As you know, the majority of people these days suffer from the incredible burden of out-of-control stress and its awful symptoms. Perhaps you know someone. Perhaps it’s you.

Most people admit they need to do something about their stress. But they rarely do, either because they don’t know how or they don’t think it’s possible. Many don’t know where to turn for help.

At a recent workshop I gave, there was a woman who could not sit still, one who hadn’t gotten a decent night’s sleep in weeks, a man who suffered from daily headaches, another with rapid heart rate, and many others with problems related to their out-of-control stress levels.  After speaking with them for a few minutes and teaching them how to practice a simple meditation:

  • the first woman was still
  • the second felt rested
  • the man’s headache went away
  • the other’s heart rate fell by 32 beats per minute
  • many more stress symptoms went away

There is real power in turning off the stress response.  

There is even more power in knowing how to keep it off.

This is why I am reaching out to you now.

Over the years I have been asked numerous times by many of you to develop something to help people — your moms, dads, friends, co-workers, employees, athletes, students, missionaries, professionals, performers, teens (just to name a few) — to help them turn off their stress and keep it off.

At first I thought I could just find something to which I could refer people, but after searching and searching through all the “quick tips and tricks” and weak programs, I found, there really isn’t anything out there to help people with all three of the major aspects of stress.

No complete or comprehensive solution.

So I got to work.

Seven years later, I am excited to say there are options. There is hope.  In fact, there is more than hope, because these options are already up and running. People are already benefiting from them in the most incredible ways.
